The Triumph cars gallery.

Triumph cars was established by two German immigrants, Siegfried Bettmann and Mauritz Johann Schutte. Production started in Coventry with their first bicycles followed by motor bikes, and then in 1923 the first motor car, the first in a succession of fine performance cars. Pre war models included:- 10/20, 13/30, Super Seven, Gloria, Dolomite, Southern Cross and Vitesse six.

In 1944 Triumph was aquired by the Standard Motor Company for £75,000 and production restarted with the razor-edged Renown. The smaller Mayflower followed together with the World famous 'TR' series. The Spitfire, GT6, and Stag models followed to continue the sports car lineage. Saloon cars produced were;- Herald, Vitesse, 2000/2500, 1300/1500, and Dolomite 1850/2000.

Sadly, production of this great British marque ceased in 1984, and like most other British car manufacturers became just a memory, but, many Triumphs remain in private owmership being carefuuly restored to showroom condition and appear at many of the enthusiasts' club meetings and rallies, and they continue to give pleasure to many car fans throughout the world.

This collection of paintings is the first in a series of Triumph images with many more in the pipeline. All originals are for sale and for further details please contact the Artist who is also accepting commissions.
