 The A.E.C. Regal gallery

The A.E.C. Regal first saw the light of day in the autumn of 1929. It was designed by John Rackham, who had previously designed the Leyland Tiger when employed at Leyland. It became a very popular model and aquired a decent  share of the heavyweght single deck market. Unlike the Leyland Tiger, the Regal was available with the options of either a crash or preselector gearbox which broadened its appeal.

A selection of paintings are included below, prints of which can be ordered on the AEC gallery or by visiting the operators' sections which are listed in the main menu.
